Professor, RMIT University, Australia

Professor Marc Cohen, is a medical doctor and one of Australia’s pioneers of integrative and holistic medicine. He is currently President of the Australasian Wellness Association and Professor of Health Sciences at RMIT University where he leads postgraduate Wellness Programs and supervises research into wellness and holistic health. His research areas include yoga, meditation, nutrition, herbal medicine,  lifestyle, hot springs, saunas, elite athletic performance and the health impact of pesticides, organic food and detoxification. 


Jonathan dawson

Head of Economics, Schumacher College, United Kingdom

Jonathan Dawson is a sustainability educator, currently working as Head of Economics at Schumacher College in Devon. Until recently a long-term resident at the Findhorn ecovillage and a former President of the Global Ecovillage Network, he has around 20 years experience as a researcher, author, consultant and project manager in the field of small enterprise development in Africa and South Asia.Jonathan is the principal author of the Gaia Education sustainable economy curriculum http://www.gaiaeducation.org, drawn from best practice  within ecovillages worldwide, that has been endorsed by UNITAR and adopted by UNESCO as a valuable contribution to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. He teaches this curriculum at universities, ecovillages and community centres in Brazil, Spain and Scotland.

Martin goebel

Founder, Moebius Partners LLC, United States 

Martin Goebel has nearly 35 years experience in natural resources management and sustainable development.  Between 1983-1986 he was assistant director for science and director for conservation planning at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Conservation International (CI), and subsequently director for Mexico for TNC, CI and World Wildlife Fund. From 1994-2013 Martin was the founding president of Sustainable Northwest based in Portland, Oregon.  Martin helped found the Oregon Sustainability Board and has served as trustee of several foundations including Summit Foundation, Compton Foundation and Fondo Mexicano para la Conservacion de la Naturaleza (which he founded).  Most recently Martin founded Moebius Partners LLC, a private sector consultancy specializing in advising philanthropies and triple-bottom line private sector companies.

Kevin Kelly is CEO and partner of Two Bunch Palms, a historic hot mineral springs resort recently transformed into the first "carbon neutral" spa resort in North America.  Owner of Civano Development, Kevin is one of the first sustainable developers in the U.S. to pioneer alternative and energy-efficient homes and land-planning techniques. He served as chief branding officer and president of Canyon Ranch for nine years.

Victor has diverse management experience from different previous positions and is currently the CEO of Dr. Hauschka Skin Care. Victor also works locally as a management consultant, focusing on sustainable business strategy development and executive management coaching. Victor has served as a consultant for the Vermont Sustainable Job’s Fund’s Peer to Peer Collaborative Program, working with small businesses helping them to address business strategy and management skill building. Victor is also an occasional Adjunct Business Professor in Green Mountain College’s Sustainable MBA Program, teaching classes in People Management, Sustainable Business Strategy and Finance.

An internationally recognized proponent and practitioner in integrative systems design and regeneration Bill is an architect and principal in Regenesis. His work centers on creating the framework for and managing an integrative, whole and living system design process. This work is known as Regenerative Development. It is a meta-discipline that unifies the pattern understanding practices of Ecological Design, Biophilia, and Organizational/ Community Transformation into a design process that lifts building and community planning into a co-evolutionary relationship with ecological systems. He is one of the founders of the LEED, author of many articles, contributor to multiple books - including co-authorship of the seminal work, “Integrative Design Guide to Green Building” - and is one of the leading authorities on integrative design and regenerative design and development. 

 


eduardo rincon gallardo

Biologist / Artist, Mexico

Eduardo Rincón initiated his formal education as a biologist, working in tropical plant research for the UNAM University in Mexico City. In 1992, he presented his first show as a solo artist at the Sloane-Racotta Gallery, deciding to combine the study of nature through the arts with botany and science. He actively works as a painter and also cultivates the arts of engraving and drawing. In 2000 he began his studies in anthroposophy and has since been active in study under the guidance of renowned teachers and he founded a branch of the Anthroposophical Society in Mexico. In recent years, he has fused his personal research in plant biology and Biodynamics with art projects using contemporary installation and sculpture, in addition to landscape design with native and endangered species.
