Dawnette Cabaluna began her career in post-secondary education in 1992 leading the educational movement for the Utah College of Massage Therapy Family of Schools - now owned by Catterton. With her focus on industry and educational excellence, Dawnette has led her company through four business acquisitions, expanding Cortiva Institute’s portfolio to 30 campuses nationwide, and continues Cortiva Institute’s growth into new markets opening three new schools since 2010. Dawnette is a Licensed Massage Therapist and has been training faculty and campus leadership to be effective mentors, both inside and outside of the classroom, for over 24 years. She is an innovative educator developing both student and graduate success strategies for the company impacting over 85,000 professionals pursuing careers in our unique and specialized industries.

Scott Dartnall RMT is a  Registered Massage Therapist of 25 years in Ontario Canada. He is Director of the International Medical Massage Therapy Institute in Mohali, Punjab India. Scott built and lead the first private multi-disciplinary clinic in Canada to accreditation with the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA). He developed and opened numerous multi-disciplinary clinics and medi-spas. In 2012 Scott was Inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame. Scott has specialized in online and in-person continuing education conferences for massage therapists globally for a decade. He is co-creator of Massage Therapy Radio, the World Massage Conference, ONE Concept Canadian Massage Conference and American Massage Conferences. Scott also serves as President & CEO of ONE Concept Inc. and on the Board of Directors of the World Massage Conference. In March 2016 he published the inaugural addition of Canadian RMT Magazine.

Dr. Tiffany Field is the director and founder of the Touch Research Institute in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Touch Research Institute, established in 1992, was the first center in the world devoted solely to the study of touch and its application in science and medicine. TRI conducts research on the effects of alternative therapies such as massage therapy on various medical and psychological conditions. TRI’s research has focused on preventing prematurity in pregnancies, enhancing growth and development of preterm infants, and reducing depression, attentional disorders, pain syndromes and increasing immune function in chronic illnesses in children and adults.  She has received Research Scientist awards to support her 30 year research career in the Department of Pediatrics and has published over 400 journal papers and over 30 books.

Heather Zdan is the Vice President of Marketing at Scrip Companies/Massage Warehouse and has over 20 years experience in database and direct marketing in omni-channel environments.   She is a passionate supporter The Massage Therapy Foundation and Touch Research Institute through her work with Massage Warehouse.  Heather is an avid user and believer in the benefits of massage therapy which she has used to treat chronic migraine headaches and to improve her health and overall well-being.  Before joining Scrip, Heather was responsible for managing customer relationship strategies and developing marketing strategies to optimize customer contacts and increase profitability with Sears Shop Your Way Program, Hammacher Schlemmer and Eddie Bauer. Heather holds an MBA from the University of Findlay and a BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
